Chamber Introduces New Staff Members

Dear Schuylkill Chamber of Commerce Members,

It is our sincerest pleasure to welcome two new Schuylkill Chamber of Commerce TEAM members.

Olivia Erickson, Events & Marketing Coordinator

Olivia Erickson joined the chamber team in late May, following her graduation from Kutztown University of Pennsylvania, earlier that month. Olivia has assumed the role of Events and Marketing Coordinator.

Olivia had previously graduated from Marian Catholic High School. At Kutztown University, Olivia served as a Presidential Ambassador, a student leadership role within their Alumni Foundation fostering collaboration and partnerships between students and alumni, and attending and engaging in events with alumni, faculty, staff, and benefactors. While at Kutztown University she also served as President of the Women in STEM Club, where she planned, organized, coordinated and managed events, event budgets, and university departments with companies to inspire and engage multigenerational collaboration.

Olivia’s passion for event planning and coordination and her leadership and commitment to bring different communities of people together around a common goal, made her candidacy for this chamber position a great match in carrying out the vision and mission of the Schuylkill Chamber of Commerce.

Dawn Pritiskutch, Finance & Administrative Coordinator

Dawn Pritiskutch is a graduate of Keystone College with a degree in accounting. Dawn has assumed the position of Financial and Administrative Coordinator. She was able to transition into this new position in a part-time role during late May and early June and began fulltime employment at the beginning of this week.

Dawn comes to the chamber after a decade of working experience as the Purchasing Manager for Pioneer Pole Buildings in Schuylkill Haven, PA and with a strong recommendation from their company. She also worked for Reading Anthracite, Pottsville, PA as an accounting and purchasing assistant, and for Kane Warehousing, Scranton, PA as an account’s payable coordinator in the past. Her background and previous experiences with various information system and financial system platforms, including QuickBooks, as well as a wealth of past financial and administrative responsibilities, made her an attractive hire for the chamber.

Dawn’s previous roles not only professionally but also with business customer relations prepares her for her role in finance, accounting, and accounts receivable and payable as we work with our now over 810 members.
