Samantha is the executive vice president of the Schuylkill Chamber of Commerce.  She came to the Chamber with a background in public relations, events planning and marketing.

While attending Penn State University, University Park, Samantha was a member of the Public Relations Student Society of America (PRSSA) and interned at the Bryce Jordan Center. In 2012, she graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in communications from the College of Communications, with a focus in public relations.

She currently serves on the Board of Directors for Avenues and Explore Schuylkill. She is also the co-founder of Guz’s Charitable Project, Inc., a charity that helps bring awareness to the dangers of distracted driving, specifically texting and driving. Through fundraising efforts, the charity raises funds for scholarships for high school seniors in memory of Dave Guzick. In addition, she is the co-owner of The Chopping Block, an axe-throwing and social entertainment venue located in Downtown Pottsville. 

Samantha is married to her husband, Alex, and together they have a daughter, Sloan. In addition to spending time with her family, Samantha enjoys exercising, being outdoors and spending time with her friends. If you can’t find her doing one of those things, you may find her decorating her home for a holiday or gathering.
