The Northeastern Pennsylvania Alliance (NEPA), designated by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania as the Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) for Carbon, Monroe, Pike, and Schuylkill counties, is the organization that considers and approves the plans and programs and the Federal and State funding for highway and transit systems in the four-county MPO area.  The NEPA MPO is developing its 2050 Long Range Transportation Plan (LRTP).  The NEPA MPO is holding a 30-day public comment period on the draft LRTP beginning on Friday, November 17, 2023 and ending on Monday, December 18, 2023. 

The Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP) provides eligible households $30 per month off their internet bills. ACP-eligible households can also receive a one-time discount of up to $100 to purchase a laptop, desktop computer, or tablet from participating providers.
