Q: Briefly describe your business, including your products or services and the community you serve.

A: “Welcome to The Home of Winning Smiles!” That’s the energy you’ll feel the moment you walk through our doors. At Dr. Bob Bryan Orthodontics, we provide customized orthodontic care for patients of all ages. From braces to Invisalign®, we serve families across Schuylkill County, the Lehigh Valley, Berks County, and beyond, even welcoming out-of-state patients who are looking for expert care and a great experience.

Q: What inspired you to start your business, or what led you to take on ownership or leadership of it?

A: Dr. Bob Bryan’s journey is rooted in both passion and mentorship. He began his career as a pediatric dentist before becoming an orthodontist, giving him a unique perspective on how smiles develop from an early age.

He was also deeply influenced by orthodontic mentors, including his father, Dr. William Bryan, who brought 45 years of experience, and Dr. Frank Solga, whose 35 years of expertise helped guide Dr. Bob through complex cases early in his career. That foundation continues to shape how he practices today.

Q: What makes your business unique or sets it apart from others in your industry?

A: We combine high-level expertise with a genuinely fun, welcoming atmosphere. You might see team members high-fiving patients or hear laughter during appointments, but behind that is decades of experience and advanced training.

Dr. Bob’s background in both pediatric dentistry and orthodontics allows him to guide developing smiles, not just straighten teeth, something parents especially appreciate.

A: With over 30 years of experience in orthodontics, Dr. Bob has seen and adapted to tremendous advancements in the field. Our practice has evolved by embracing modern technology, expanding treatment options, and making care more convenient for today’s busy families, all while maintaining a patient-first, upbeat culture.

Q: What are some of the core values or principles that guide your business?

A: We believe every smile is unique and every patient should feel like family. Our core values center around personalized care, integrity, and creating a comfortable, positive experience. Orthodontic treatment shouldn’t feel intimidating; it should feel approachable, supportive, and even fun.

Q: How does your business support or engage with the local community?

A: We’re proud to be part of the communities we serve. Whether in Schuylkill County, the Lehigh Valley, or Berks County, building relationships with local families is at the heart of what we do. Being involved and giving back to the communities that support us is incredibly important to our team.

Q: What is something customers might be surprised to learn about your business?

A: Many people are surprised to learn how early orthodontic care can begin and how much of a difference it can make. We recommend children come in around age 7, when early intervention can help guide growth, prevent bigger issues, and sometimes shorten treatment time.
