Schuylkill Chamber of Commerce Honored as the Recipient of the 2025 PACP Chamber of the Year Award in the Category of Chambers with Over 700 Members
The Pennsylvania Association of Chamber Professionals (PACP) recognized their 2025 Chambers of the Year during their Chamber Professionals & Leadership Conference held this week at the Seven Springs Mountain Resort in Seven Springs, PA.
In addition to recognizing organization excellence, the PACP Chamber of the Year Award focuses on acknowledging one or more significant achievements / accomplishments that a chamber has initiated, stimulated, and/or led in its respective service area at some point during the past 18 months. Organizational excellence is evaluated in the areas of membership, programs, planning, and finance.
The Schuylkill Chamber of Commerce was honored as the recipient of the prestigious award in the category of chambers with over 700 members.
The Schuylkill Chamber has continued to work tirelessly on a mammoth advocacy effort that impacts employers, working parents, childcare providers, and early childhood teachers across Pennsylvania – the childcare workforce crisis. The Chamber has been a leading voice in statewide advocacy, coalition building, and direct civic engagement most notably around childcare teachers leaving the industry or not considering the industry due to traditional low wages and lack of benefits. As of August 1, 2025, the Chamber is proud to report that 72 chambers and economic development organizations have signed on to a coalition letter in support of early childhood teacher recruitment and retention.
