The Pennsylvania Association of Chamber Professionals (PACP) recognized their 2024 Chambers of the Year during their Chamber Professionals & Leadership Conference held at the Lancaster Marriott at Penn Square in Lancaster, PA.
In addition to recognizing organization excellence, the PACP Chamber of the Year Award focuses on acknowledging one or more significant achievements / accomplishments that a chamber has initiated, stimulated, and/or led in its respective service area at some point during the past 18 months. Organizational excellence is evaluated in the areas of membership, programs, planning, and finance.

The Schuylkill Chamber of Commerce is honored to be recognized as the 2024 Chamber of the Year,” said Robert S. Carl, Jr., president & CEO, Schuylkill Chamber of Commerce. “Our staff appreciates the support of our Board of Directors, Executive Committee and all of our members as we work to improve the quality of life in the greater Schuylkill County area.”
“Being awarded Chamber of the Year two times in three years is a testament to our staff’s commitment to our member organizations (their employees and volunteers), community members and partner organizations,” said Samantha Chivinski, executive vice president, Schuylkill Chamber of Commerce.
The Schuylkill Chamber of Commerce was honored as the recipient of the prestigious award in the category of chambers with over 700 member organizations.
The Schuylkill Chamber joined PennDOT officials, project supporters, and partners for the groundbreaking of the $115 million reconstruction project of State PA Route 61 from St. Clair to Frackville. The project has been deemed the largest PennDOT project in the history of District 5-0. The Chamber’s Infrastructure Committee worked hand-in-hand with PennDOT, legislators, and stakeholders to secure the necessary funding for the project. The Chamber also worked with the Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia to create an Affordable Housing Accelerator Program. In addition, the chamber has been tirelessly working on child care advocacy, market-rate housing and many other matters impacting its for-profit and nonprofit member organizations.
The Wyoming County Chamber of Commerce was honored as the recipient of the prestigious award in the category of chambers with under 700 member organizations.
The Wyoming Chamber recently formed a formal partnership with a local 501c3 organization dedicated to strengthening the community. This alliance, which promotes innovation, integrity, diversity, and collaboration, allows the Chamber to engage in community initiatives that significantly enhance the well-being and quality of life of our residents. The Alliance and the Chamber secured over $250,000 through the Department of Community and Economic Development’s Neighborhood Assistance Program for community planning and projects, economic development, and student engagement.
