On June 2nd, Hillside SPCA opened its doors to the public to showcase their new facilities and renovations! These projects include a Spay Neuter Clinic, Kennels, Courtyard, Welcome Center, and building renovations made possible from the generous donors of the two-year Capital Campaign. Each of these projects have been completed with the well-being of the animals in the forefront of Hillside's vision. The event included a ceremony dedicated in the memory of Hillside SPCA leader, Barbara Umlauf. Barbara was known to be a dedicated and generous part of the SPCA family, and this ceremony honored her lasting legacy on the corporation. 

The Open House featured remarks from Sherrie Schafer, Shelter Manager; Donna Boyd, President; Barbara Jean Krupa- Spay & Neuter Clinic Sponsor; Barbara Williams’ Family, Nadine & Natalie Avenoso and Paula Murphy; and Ron Brown, Vice President. The event also thanked and acknowledged the various sponsors who have made generous donations to the two-year Capital Campaign. Hillside SPCA is grateful for the community support that fueled these expansions and helps them in their mission to provide exceptional care for animals.
