The Schuylkill Chamber of Commerce is seeking applications for the role of Membership Relations Director. We seek an individual who thrives in dynamic environments, excels in managing diverse tasks under pressure, and embraces challenges with enthusiasm. The successful candidate will demonstrate independent and analytical thinking, adeptness in meeting deadlines autonomously, and flexibility to accommodate occasional evening commitments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead all Chamber membership initiatives encompassing recruitment, sales, and retention, with a focus on providing exceptional customer service.
• Develop and nurture leads through proactive outreach efforts, including personal visits, cold calls, and online engagement, leveraging both internal and external resources.
• Facilitate seamless onboarding experiences for new members, ensuring timely correspondence and resource dissemination.
• Manage membership programs and services aimed at enhancing member engagement, satisfaction and retention.
• Cultivate strong relationships with new and existing members to foster active participation and maximize membership benefits.
• Deliver monthly membership reports to the President & CEO and Board of Directors.
• Collaborate with Chamber committees and contribute to Chamber-sponsored events, programs, and meetings.
• Support updates and assist with marketing and social media campaigns as required.

Desired Skills and Qualifications:

• Demonstrated teamwork skills.
• 2-3 years of sales/marketing experience preferred.
• Proven track record in sales with proficiency in multitasking.
• Ability to coordinate and execute events and programs efficiently.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral.
• Goal-oriented mindset with a strong sense of reliability in meeting deadlines.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, CRM software, and communications tools.
• Bachelor's Degree preferred.
