Alex Halper, vice president of government affairs, was named among the top five policy professionals in City & State’s 2023 “Pennsylvania Government Relations Power 100” – the 100 most influential government affairs professionals in Pennsylvania.

Alex joined the PA Chamber in 2011 and has led our team of highly effective team of pro-business lobbying advocates since he took the helm as VP last year. As our resident expert in labor and employment policy, he most recently shielded thousands of businesses from a crushing unemployment tax increase late last year. He was also instrumental in efforts to get the monumental tax reform package to the finish line last year, which included the reduction of Pennsylvania’s Corporate Net Income Tax Rate.
