Dear Chamber Members,

It is the Schuylkill Chamber of Commerce’s sincere pleasure to introduce Samantha (Sam) Day as the new Events & Marketing Director, and newest member of the Schuylkill Chamber of Commerce TEAM. 

Sam began on February 7, 2023 in a part-time role which she will continue through her graduation from Penn State Capitol Campus in early May. We are targeting May 22, 2023 for her to be with the chamber full-time, and possibly earlier depending on her personal schedule post-graduation.

Samantha is a marketing major at Penn State Capitol Campus in Harrisburg, PA. She is a senior and will graduate in the Spring of 2023 with a B.S. in Marketing.

She is a Schuylkill County native and has a passion for Schuylkill County, our businesses, nonprofits and our citizens. 

Sam has always valued communication, adaptability, and creativity.  She also has a passion for business so when it came to the decision of what path to take in her higher education, she knew that a marketing major combining all of these values and interests would be perfect. 

Sam has managed to balance her scholastic work with extra curriculars including playing soccer for two years at the Division 3 level, helped coach with the Hershey Youth Soccer Club; and she is an Intramural Official for Penn State Harrisburg. Along with working part-time with the Chamber, Sam will also be finishing her internship as a marketing intern at PSECU, (Pennsylvania's largest credit union) who recently became a new member of the Schuylkill Chamber of Commerce. 

Samantha has “hit the ground running,” cannot wait to start full-time and is excited for what her future holds as an important member of the Schuylkill Chamber of Commerce TEAM. We are very excited to have another home-grown staff member join the team.
