STC Carpentry Students Build Desk

Mar Lin & Frackville (April 1, 2022)-  Students enrolled at the Schuylkill Technology Center North Campus designed and built a custom desk for Kash Filiac, a second-grade student enrolled at Saint Clair Area School District that provides more space for him to do his work and accommodate his wheelchair. Through a cooperative effort between the Outdoor Power Technology and Carpentry students as well as our talented instructors, STC answered the call with a custom desk for Kash.  Pictured with Kash Filiac (Saint Clair) (seated) are STC students (Standing L to R) Jeremiah Barry (North Schuylkill), Derick Ney (Pine Grove), Angelo Errichetto (North Schuylkill), Adam Green (Tamaqua), and Allen Dunbar (Tamaqua) who helped with the build.

STC is an accredited career and technical school comprised of 12 public school districts in Schuylkill County: Blue Mountain, Mahanoy Area, Minersville, North Schuylkill, Pine Grove, Pottsville, Saint Clair, Schuylkill Haven, Shenandoah Valley, Tamaqua, Tri-Valley, and Williams Valley.
