Samantha is the events and development director and has been with the Schuylkill Chamber of Commerce since February of 2018. She came to the Chamber with a background in events planning and marketing.

While attending Penn State University, University Park, Samantha was involved in the planning committee for the Public Relations Student Society of America (PRSSA) and interned at the Bryce Jordan Center. In 2012, she graduated with a bachelor’s degree in communications. Her focus was in public relations.

Samantha has been married to her husband, Alex, for five years and together they have a one-year-old daughter, Sloan Marielle. Six years ago Samantha and Alex, became parents to their fur child, Axel, a goofy, rambunctious husky.  In addition to spending time with her family, Samantha enjoys exercising, being outdoors and spending time with her gal pals. If you can’t find her doing one of those things, you may find her decorating her home for a holiday or gathering.  She currently serves on the board for the Schuylkill Young Professionals Organization and is a member of their communications committee. She is also the co-founder of Guz’s Charitable Project, a project that helps bring awareness to the dangers of distracted driving, specifically texting and driving.

  • She loves the beach but is terrified of sharks
  • She can’t pass a gumball machine without spending 25 cents to buy one
