The FBPA was originally founded in 1953 as the Frackville Business Association.

In addition to providing an opportunity for business people to meet and network, we promote local businesses through various efforts. These include informational programs about topics of interest to small business, e.g. healthcare, banking, and tourism. We also present overviews of community issues such as drug addiction and homelessness. In an effort to serve the entire community, we organize the following events and programs:

·       Funding Frackville’s Christmas lights annually, through the Eagles football ticket raffle.

·       Organizing a Farmers’ Market during the warmer months which runs every Thursday from 2 p.m. until 6 p.m. (weather permitting) on Lehigh Avenue (at the intersection of Frack Street).

·       Awarding two scholarships to high school seniors in the 17931 zip code.

·       Organizing and planning the annual Pumpkin Festival, which brings young and old community members downtown for fall fun!

The Frackville Business and Professional Association’s members are active in the community and appreciate your business! We meet monthly at a different business in the Frackville area to discuss topics for the betterment of our organization and town as a whole. Our current officers include Peg Gerrity, President, Kathy Blazer, Treasurer and Kathy Wagner, Secretary.

We invite you to check us out on our website and Facebook pages: and or join us at one of our monthly meetings to learn about a membership!
